The venue

Pale Hall is at Llandderfel, near Bala, on the upper Dee. Guests come along the A494 or A5, not the North Wales coast expressway all the way to the door. Airport collections are a long day. Next-day returns are worth booking as their own journey if guests stay over. This is a different run from Portmeirion and from Llyn Gwynant.
