Travelling to the festival

Kendal Calling is a Lake District festival, so the drive from Chester, Wrexham and North Wales is northbound through Lancashire and into the Lakes, not an M56 hop to Manchester. Campsite luggage is the usual constraint. A party of four with tents is a different load from eight people with overnight bags. Return collections to the core region can be on a different day. Do not assume the vehicle can enter a camping field. There is no date on this page.

Location and the organiser

Lake District. Use the entrance the organiser has given you, and describe any camping kit on the quote.

Confirm the entrance and the dates with the organiser before you travel: https://kendalcalling.co.uk/

Airport connections

A flight can be the start or the finish of the festival journey. Name the airport, the terminal and the festival entrance.

Parties of one to eight

The vehicle has eight passenger seats and is driven for you. One, two, four, six or eight passengers can book it. You do not have to fill the other seats.

There is no fare table on this website. The quote is for the journey you describe, not a published price per person.

Eight seats do not decide the luggage. Cases, pushchairs, instruments and camping kit have to be described. A full passenger load plus eight people's camping equipment should not be assumed to fit.

Questions before you book

Can four people with camping kit book the eight-seater to Kendal Calling?

Yes. Four passengers can book the vehicle. Describe the tents and other bulky kit. If the load will not fit with those passengers, that is confirmed before you travel rather than assumed.
